FREE Haagen-Dazs

Haagen-Dazs is offering customers a FREE scoop of any Bee-built ice cream flavor tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12 between 4 pm and 8 pm. As with any food freebie, please call the location you plan to visit before you head out to make sure they are participating! Click here for locations.

Bee-built ice cream you ask? Yes, over 50% of Haagen-Dazs ice cream relies on honey bees to pollinate the necessary ingredients. Haagen Dazs has taken their annual Free Scoop Day and turned it into a campaign for awareness of the plight of the honey bees who in recent years have seen their population decrease by one-third due to various environmental and human causes. These honey bees pollinate one-third of the country's food supply and Haagen Dazs has chosen to increase knowledge about the issues facing the honey bee in their annual Free Scoop Day.
