I had $3 in RR's expiring today so I went to Walgreens and got the following:
Colgate Max Fresh, On Sale $2.99
Get $2 RR
Use $1.00 cpn in 4-26-09 insert
Final Cost: FREE after RR
I bought 1, used the coupon then paid for it from my $3 in RR - note that I needed to buy a filler item (I bought scotch tape I needed) to get to the $3. Other than those expiring RR's, I didn't need anything else. I spent the $3 in RR and got back $2 in RR plus the toothpaste and my filler item (scotch tape)

Puffs Plus, On Sale $.99 with in ad coupon
You'll need a small filler item ($.08) to get up to the $6 total to use your RR from the haircare.
Use the $6 RR and pay just tax on the taxable items, depending on your state. You'll get $2 in RR to use on a future transaction. Getting 10 items for just $5 with $2 in RR left for next week isn't bad, right?
