September Online Offers

Here is September's online offers post! For those of you who are new, I have posted extensive directions on how to complete these offers.

Please, you MUST read the previous posts (here, here, and here) I have written about these offers very carefully - also read the comments left on those posts as those serve kind of as "frequently asked questions" that I respond to as well. If you have any questions, email or leave a comment. It's better to ask the question than to do something you aren't sure of and have it result in an unsuccessful offer.

It is very possible to be successful with these offers! Remember, you can only earn $1,000 in prizes from each Ideal sub-company (i.e. Bullseye, 123, etc.) so choose wisely! At the time of the posting of this, none of the offers posted required referrals. Offers can change at any time so be sure to review the terms and conditions before registering!

ICU Associates

I have done several mystery shops with ICU Associates when I was offered a bonus. This company will offer high bonuses (including mileage and tolls) towards the end of the month to complete open shops. I did a shop very close to my house and was paid quite handsomely for not so much effort.

The shop reports are easy to enter and do not require substantial narrative. I receive emails when shops are open and when they are in dire need of you to do a shop you'll get several emails. You can negotiate fees with them towards the end of the month. I found the scheduler I dealt with to be very professional and payment was made via paypal on the timetable expected.

As always, it's FREE to sign up for these companies. You're under no obligation to do any shops whatsoever.

To learn more about mystery shopping, please read my Mystery Shopping 101 post. For a list of other mystery shopping companies I have discussed click here.

Target Deals, Week of 9/27

Collin over at Hip2Save has a great list of Target deals. There are weekly match-ups with the flyer as well as ongoing deals. I had an interesting conversation with a woman in the Target corporate office (not the India call center) last week and hopefully she'll be able to straighten one of my local stores out on the coupon policy. I hate that it can be so frustrating sometime and was again advised that the "limit one offer per transaction" does NOT mean you can only use 1 Target coupon at a time. She stressed that transaction is different from purchase and you can only use 1 Target coupon per item (ie transaction) but can use as many as you want per purchase so long as there is just 1 per item. Whew. Now on to the match-ups.

For Collin's full list, check out her new post. She has a ton of ongoing deals for FREE items!

CVS, 9/27-10/3

Karen at Frugal RI Mama has this week's hot CVS deals and match-ups. I'm highlighting a few below but you'll want to read her full post for the rest of the list!

If you're new to CVS deals shopping, please read my CVS 101 post and then check out the Newbie Scenario I've posted below.

I had expiring ECB's this week so I made a trip this morning to roll them. My transaction will follow Karen's match-ups.

Here are Karen's highlights:

Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion 6.8 oz, On Sale $7.99 Get $7.00 ECB’s (limit 1) (Sunday-Tuesday only)
Use $1.50 printable coupon
OR Use $1.50 cpn in 8-02-09 RP

Gillette Fusion, or Venus Embrace, or Spa Breeze Razor, On Sale $9.99 Get $5.00 ECB’s (limit 1)

Use (2) $1.00 cpn in 9-13-09 or 9-27-09 SS insert
Buy 2
Final Cost: $.75 each after ECB’s

My Transaction:
I had $8.99 in ECB's to roll this week. Since I had so many ECB's I just did 1 transaction

Bought 1 Vaseline Sheer Infusion, $7.99, get $7 RR
Bought 2 copies of the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine, $.99 each (full of coupons!)
Bought 1 Cover Girl Clean Make-up Foundation, $6.19
Bought Cover Girl Ageless Blush, $10.00
Bought 1 caramel candy, $.33

I gave the cashier the $5 off when you spend $25 coupon I got by taking the flu IQ quiz
Use coupon for buy 1 Cover Girl foundation, get any Face Item FREE
Got $10.00 off for the free blush as per the coupon (no limit on free item on coupon)
Used $1.00 off Cover Girl item coupon from 8/30 PG
Used $1.50 printable coupon for Vaseline

Used my $8.99 in ECB's and paid just tax of $1.38
Received $12 in ECB's ($5 from Cover Girl and $7 from Vaseline!)

If you don't have any ECB's and you do the above deal with the coupons (without the caramel candy that I needed to use my ECB's), you would spend $8.66 out of pocket for the 5 items and get back $12 in ECB's which is a profit of $3.34 on the items!

Coupons.com Update, 9.27

Ever since I figured out how to set my printer to default print in black and white and on fast draft I am printing more coupons than ever! Each Sunday I am going to try to bring you the updated list of printable coupons from coupons.com! You can access these coupons from the blue widget on my right sidebar that has 3 coupons on it or by clicking here. Some of them are not available in all zip codes. You can print two (2) of each coupon by hitting the back button on your browser.

Printing the coupons from the widget on my blog or by clicking here supports this blog! Remember to contact your local stores to see what their policy on accepting Internet printables is! It's best to print as many as you think you may need as soon as you see them (read: right now) because you never know when a coupon will reach its print limit. Print now, hold on to them, and wait for a good deal to use them!

FYI - sometimes coupons reset several times each month so even if you have already printed 2 of a certain coupon, try to print it again - if you're lucky, it was reset and you can print 2 more!

It's almost the first of the month so many of these coupons may be on their last days!

Kmart Doubles - It's a Go! I spent 7 cents for 32 items!

Update: This was my first trip of this event. You'll definitely also want to check out my second trip where I spent just 2 cents for 49 items!

Sorry for this being the first post of the day, so late. By now I usually have the CVS and Walgreens deals already up. I'll get them up in the next hour or so, promise!

I'm late because I went to Kmart this morning and am happy to report that every one of my coupons doubled! So all of the back and forth about it being Proctor & Gamble coupons isn't right. As I suspected, Kmart's computers are programmed to double all coupons. I ended up getting 32 items and spending just 7 cents! Yes, you read that right, 7 cents.

Here is the breakdown for what I got:

3 packs of 14 packs of Bic Twin Select razors, each $3.49
Used 3 of the $2.00 coupons from the 9/20 SS
doubled to FREE

1 Kashi Go Lean Cereal, $3.99
Used $2.00 coupon received in the mail for joining Kashi Connect
doubled to FREE

1 Bic Silky Touch 10 pack razors, $3.49
Used $2.00 coupon from 9/20 SS
doubled to FREE

2 packages of Pounce Cat Treats, $1.39 each
Used BOGO coupon from October All You Magazine
doubled to get both items FREE

6 cans of Friskies Selects Indoors, $.82 each
Used 3 BOGO coupons from 9/13 RP
doubled so all 6 are FREE

4 cans of Pedigree + canned dog food, $1.09 each
Used 2 BOGO printable coupons
doubled so all 4 are FREE

6 cans of Purina One Wholesome canned dog food, $1.39 each
Used 3 BOGO coupons from 9/13 RP
doubled so all are FREE

2 packages of Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara, $3.29 each
Used 2 of the $2.00 off coupons from 8/23 RP (also one in the September All You Magazine
doubled so both are FREE

2 packages of Cesar Bistro dog meals, $.99 each
Used BOGO coupon from 8/16 or 8/30 RP
doubled so both items are FREE

1 Hormel Compleats meal, $2.00
Used $2.00 off coupon from October All You Magazine
doubled so item is FREE

2 Friskies Natural Sensations cat treats, $1.99 each
Used 2 FREE coupons from today's SS
Got both items FREE

1 LaCross Pedicure Stone, $3.49
Used $2.00 coupon from September All You Magazine
Doubled so item was FREE

1 pack of Wrigley's Rain Gum, $1.25
Needed a filler item because the cash register showed that Kmart owed me $1.32 and I knew that wasn't going to fly!

I added the gum and then my total was $.07. I gladly paid them the $.07. This happened because I used a $5 off when you spend $50 coupon (you can also get the coupon if you sign up for their email updates) before my other coupons were applied and I purchased only FREE items! Thanks to the ladies at the Lake Park, FL Kmart for being so great this morning!

Hot New TV Show - "The Middle"

I was given the opportunity to preview the pilot "The Middle"a new TV show this fall premiering on September 30 at 8:30 pm eastern/7:30 central on ABC. The show is a half hour comedy starring Patricia Heaton who plays the mother of the family of 5. The show had me laughing out loud several times and I think just about everyone will be able to relate to the show and enjoy it.

Even though I don't have kids I really connected with the main character Frankie. Frankie has a husband and 3 kids and works full-time. The show centers around her daily life and struggles of being a mom and a worker and trying to do both well. I believe anyone can relate to Frankie in that it's often hard to keep your work life and home life balanced and both working functionally. Everyone has times when they have to be in 2 places at once - like when Frankie's son asks her to come to show and tell as his hero dressed in a superhero outfit. She goes and then when it turns out her son had the wrong day, heads to work still dressed in her superhero suit! We've all been in similar situations where you try to be everything to everyone. That's the story of Frankie's life.

While some of the comments will really make you mothers relate (Frankie says to her teenage son who walks around all day in boxers, "I can't hear you if you don't have pants on"), others are more universal ("I made dinner" says Frankie as she dumps takeout on the table). The show depicts your everyday dual income family and follows them through their trials and tribulations in an endearingly humorous manner. Tune in to watch the pilot on September 30 on ABC!

Become a Fan of the show on Facebook
Check out the show's My Space page

Disclosure: I have volunteered my time to watch the Pilot Episode of The Middle and I am not being paid for this post, however I was given an opportunity to view the show prior to air by Warner Bros.

Update on Kmart Doubles Event

I was so excited this weekend when I learned there was going to be another Kmart Doubles event starting 9/27. I even emailed them and they emailed me back the list of the participating Florida stores which I promptly posted here on the site for you all to see. I also posted the guidelines they sent me. All was happy.

Until yesterday. I starting getting comments and emails from readers saying that the doubles event was for Proctor & Gamble (P&G) coupons only. I emailed Kmart customer service and received a response saying that the event was indeed for the P&G coupons only. My response was a little angry I think and I asked if they would honor the emailed guidelines they had sent me on Sunday which didn't mention anything about P&G coupons.

They responded saying that they didn't have the correct information when they emailed me but that only P&G coupons will be honored. I don't quite understand how they didn't have the correct information 7 days before the event.

I'll admit - I'm not quite sure if Kmart is capable of pulling this off unless their computers are going to be programmed to only double P&G coupons, if that's even possible. I wonder if their ad for this Sunday will say only P&G coupons. I guess we'll have to wait until Sunday and see what happens.

I'll keep you all updated as to what I am reading on the different boards and what happens when I go to my local Kmart store on Sunday to see exactly how the store is handling this issue.

Beauty Tip of the Day Widget

Last week I added a new widget to my left sidebar (below the surveys and Juice Box Jungle) that I wanted to direct your attention to. It's called the "Beauty Tip of the Day" and provides just that - a new beauty tip for you each day!

You can choose tips for body, hair or face and from there you can select tips, products, video or bonus to get even more information. I have found some helpful information on the widget and hope you all do too! I'm sorry it's a little small, I had to squish it to make it fit in my sidebar.

By the way, the "bonus" category on the widget has some pretty good printable coupons on it!

YoBaby Meals Review & Giveaway

I have blogged before about Stonyfield Farms and the Yo Baby line and am excited to introduce their newest product, Yo Baby Meals. These debuted in stores in July and you can find them at select grocers - near me, it's just Whole Foods. Hopefully more markets start to carry them soon. Yo Baby Meals are yogurt, fruit and veggies - all in one container! They come in 3 different flavors and the combinations are appetizing. I tried a bite of one of these and it actually wasn't bad! If you're a grown up who doesn't like vegetables this may be a good way to disguise them! The 1 year old who tasted these enjoyed them and ate more than usual.

They are served in 6 ounce cups - 50% more than the normal Yo Baby serving size. They provide more than 35% of a toddler's daily protein and calcium needs. They are priced at $1.29 per container. If you sign up for the Stonyfield newletter you may even get some ecoupons for these products!

The awesome folks at Yo Baby have graciously decided to give one (1) of my lucky readers a fabulous Yo Baby prize package, which includes a YoBaby reusable bag, an Eric Carle Growth Chart, 5 FREE YoBaby Meal Coupons, a YoBaby travel bowl with lid and utensils, and finally an Organic YoBaby bib (see above picture)! To enter, you MUST visit the Yo Baby website and then leave a comment telling me which flavor and variety you'd most like to try. Make sure to leave your email address so I can contact the winners. This is a mandatory entry and the extra entries will not count unless you do this entry.

There are six (6) "extra" ways to enter (each one below gets you one additional entry):

1. subscribe to my blog (either via email using the box in the left sidebar OR via RSS feed). If you already subscribe leave a comment saying you do. If you subscribe by email you MUST confirm your email and activate the subscription.

Review: Dove Nutrium Moisture Body Washes

I am admittedly a little obsessed with body wash. Every time a new "flavor" comes out, I can't wait to try it. I like all different kinds of scents. One thing a body wash has to have for me is some substance - I want it to be creamy and produce a nice lather and leave my skin feeling soft and clean.

I was so excited to review Dove's new Nutrium Moisture body wash line. I am a big fan of Dove products and these products bill themselves as a breakthrough in technology to help keep skin moisturized and not stripped of its moisture as part of the normal cleaning process. With these products, Dove aims to deep clean your skin while maintaining (and even increasing) the moisture in your skin, something it claims no other body wash is capable of doing.I tried all 3 different varities - Deep Moisture, Sensitive Skin, and Gentle Exfoliating. I really liked them all though the Deep Moisture was my favorite. All 3 have that light Dove-ish scent and lathered nicely on my body pouf. I loved the way they left my skin - smooth all day! My bodywash stockpile is pretty large but I would gladly add these to my inventory.

By the way, there were coupons for these body washes in the 8/2 Red Plum for $2 off. Try them out today!

Mollicoolz Shakers Review & Giveaway

Ever feel like a milkshake but don't feel like dragging out the blender? If so, Mollicoolz Shakers are here to help! Mollicoolz Shakers are single serve milkshakes that you can find in the freezer section of your local grocery store - I've seen them at my Walmart. They are the frozen beads of ice cream - all you do is add milk (or another beverage), shake and enjoy!
I received some Mollicoolz Shakers in a variety of flavors to review. They were so cool and I really enjoyed how easy they were to prepare and how yummy they tasted. You just store them in your freezer - when you want one, take it out, shake to break up the ice cream beads and add liquid. I did most of mine with milk but did take their suggestion and put orange juice in the vanilla one - it tasted like a creamsicle and the Vitamin C is a good thing, right?

My favorite was the cookies and cream variety because of the mix of flavors. I found the serving size quite large and added a little more liquid than they recommended to make my milkshake thinner so I could drink it and didn't need a spoon. These are ideal for kids as there is no mess and no blender needed.

The awesome folks at Mollicoolz have graciously decided to give one (1) of my lucky readers 2 four packs of Mollicoolz! To enter, you MUST visit the Mollicoolz website and then leave a comment telling me which flavor you'd most like to try. Make sure to leave your email address so I can contact the winners. This is a mandatory entry and the extra entries will not count unless you do this entry.

There are six (6) "extra" ways to enter (each one below gets you one additional entry):

Kmart Double Coupon Event is Back Next Week!

Many people were told that the Kmart double coupon event in August would be the last until 2010. It turns out that wasn't true - thankfully! There will be a Kmart double coupon event from September 27-October 3 at participating stores. I emailed Kmart today and they responded with a list of the Florida stores that are participating. That list, along with the guidelines of the promotion, can be found below.

A tip that I learned during the last Kmart double coupon event is that BOGO FREE coupons double so you get 2 items for FREE if the item is under $2.00. I went through my coupons briefly this morning and there have been a ton of BOGO pet food/treat coupons where the items are under $2.00. I'll post match-ups later in the week so you can be prepared to shop!

The Florida stores participating (if you want to check on your state, simply email Kmart customer service at Custrel@customerservice.kmart.com and then leave a comment or send me an email telling me what stores are participating in your state) are:

Coupons.com Update

Domino's Pizza Deals! 2 large cheese pizzas plus Cinnastix for just $10.99!

Here is a great deal for lunch or dinner this week. By the way, you can go ahead and order it now and schedule it for sometime this week!

You'll need to order online at Dominos.com to get all these great deals! Please be advised that these codes may not work in all areas so you'll need to try them out and see what works for you. Here are the codes I found:

*Use code BAN3L4T to get one FREE pizza of equal or lesser value when you order a pizza
*Use code BANLCH to get a large cheese pizza for just $5.99 (reportedly you can keep adding toppings to it and the code will still work)
*Use code CINNASTIX or ONLINE to get FREE Cinnastix with your order (delivery only)

Combine and play around with these codes to get the best deal for you. I used the BAN3L4T coupon and got 2 large cheese pizzas PLUS I used the code ONLINE to get a FREE order of Cinnastix. My total came to just $10.99 which is a pretty great price for this!

Thanks, Hip2Save!

I'm a Purex Insider!

I was recently selected to be a Purex Insider! This means I'll get to find out (and tell you all about) great new Purex products, sometimes even before they hit the shelves!

Purex has launched a website called "This Sheet Works to promote this great new product and I need YOUR help! I have the chance to win $500 for my readers just clicking on my link for the new product.
